Digital twins for retail. Every store plannable.

Store networks change faster than their documentation. qapture delivers a precise digital as-is model per site so construction, FM and brand teams can plan without travelling.

A network of 300 stores has 300 building states. Refits, format changes, retrofitted refrigeration, relocated checkout zones. The drawing in the archive shows opening day.

Every rollout starts the same loop: a consultant travels, re-measures, redraws. Three times over, when construction, refrigeration and electrical arrive separately.

That costs twice. Once in travel days, once in delay when something on site sits differently than assumed.

What qapture delivers.

  • As-is per store, exactly as it stands

Capture during trading hours, no closures. Sales floor, stockroom, plant and outdoor areas in a single pass.

  • A rollout template instead of one-offs

One data model for every site. Same structure, same naming, same area logic. Each new site enters an existing system.

  • Planning without travel

Construction, FM and brand teams walk the store in the browser. Dimensions, heights and connection points are available and verified.

  • Areas everyone can rely on

Area schedule to DIN 277 per site. Lettable, sales and ancillary areas are fixed once and hold for controlling, rent and operations.

37,000 m²

captured in a single day. That is five IKEA stores.

Blind spots have a price.

Not in your network.

Spatial intelligence in retail

Digital twin of a store in the browser

Object detection automatically identifies fire extinguishers, escape route signs and sockets in the 360° imagery and locates them in the model. The safety walk becomes a query.

For store inventories the same method runs on fixtures and equipment. What sits in which store is queryable network-wide without anyone walking the aisles.

  1. 01

    Pilot: three sites

We capture three stores of differing formats. From that we build the template: structure, naming, area logic, scope of delivery.

  2. 02

Wave: 20 to 40 sites per quarter

Capture runs as routine. One team covers two to four stores per week, depending on size and opening hours.

  3. 03

Operation: one access point for everyone

All sites sit in the same viewer. New stores are added, refitted ones are updated.

Does the store have to close for capture?

No. We capture during trading. Customers are removed in post processing and faces are automatically blurred.

How long does one store take?

A standard 1,500 m² store is captured in two to three hours. Big-box sites with stockroom and plant take half a day to a day.

From which network size does it pay off?

From roughly 20 sites with regular refits. The lever sits in the site visits saved per planning round, not in the capture itself.
